The cost of cutting and polishing a rough diamond into a commercial quality diamond gemstone will always cost the same money. The process including artificially grown diamonds is one of the most challenging and precise manufacturing techniques that can only be achieved by skilled PHD, Physicians and Chemists. It is nearly impossible that the manufacturing cost of these diamonds will ever go down. Besides, each MPCVD (Microwave Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition) reactor costs more than half a million dollars and needs continues Research & Development Expenditure which increases the investment.
Fact: Lab-grown diamonds are conflict-free irrespective of where they are grown. They are sourced from first world nations where they are treated and cut in controlled modern-day laboratories. Natural diamonds, on the other hand, have to be examined to guarantee that they are conflict-free.
Fact: A lab diamond has the same physical, chemical and optical properties of a mined diamond. It will not change its color and appearance.
